Amarok not playing VBR mp3 files

Is this a limitation of Amarok? I have some VBR files and they just won't play. All my CBR mp3s play fine. Is this a known limitation or have I got a problem?

vbr files play with arts, as for gst i dont know, cause it crashes when i tru to use it

amaroK is engine independent so there are no such limitations. I suggest using the gstreamer engine as your aRts sounds broken.
