i just now installed amarok and am quite pleased with what it can do.
my only problem is (as mentioned) that when changing tracks the old track keeps on playing (choppy) for another 5seks and then changes. after that everything is fine.
scrolling in the same track seems ok. during the track change the gui does not get updated and seems under heavy load.
any solutions available? i have played around with arts, no change at all. gstreamer seems like a solutions but as any extras that are only used by one program seem unintelligent i would rather find a different solution.
i have read the old faq (via google archive, why have you deleted all those questions? make them available as backup!!!). as google hasnt found anything regarding an alsaplugin i assume there isnt one available..
