Hi.. i'm running Kde on Mandrake .. installed amarok from source since there doesn't seem to be any rpms available... Everything seemed fin during installation

I run amarok and the splash screen appears but the rest of the program fails to load. i get nothing, no error msg nothing..

Any ideas??

1. Don't use Mandrake. 9 out of 10 people who have problems with amaroK seem to use Mandrake.

2. Try running amarokapp instead of amarok, but chances are the problem is that things aren't installed correctly so you may have more problems.

3. Didn't want to use the mandrake rpms?
