I receive the following error when trying to make:

Can't locate object method "path" via package "Autom4te::Request" (perhaps you forgot to load "Autom4te::Request"?) at /usr/bin/autom4te line 81.

I thought it might be an autoconf/automake/libtool version thing. What version of these tools are people using?

perl - 5.6
autoconf - 2.57
automake - 1.7.2
libtool - 1.4.3

FYI: I found out I need to upgrade to autoconf 2.59
