Hello,
I noticed that when I change a file's tag under Linux using amaroK, Foobar (and probably other windows players) doesn't "see" updated tags and shows the old ones? Why does it happen and what shall I do to have sametags that are used under both Linux and Windows? |

Do you actually have write access to the filesystem? Maybe the tags are simply not written. NTFS, for instance, is mounted read-only under linux.

Yes, I have write access to the filesystem. I use FAT32 partitions.
Tags written by amaroK don't disappear after rebooting my computer, so I think they must be written somewhere. But they aren't shown by Foobar. I included screenshots. You can look at them. On these, "Genre" is missing somehow. ~100 kB http://archiwumroznychrzeczy.fm.interia.pl/amarok.png ~45 kB http://archiwumroznychrzeczy.fm.interia.pl/foobar.png |
