I have installed
amarok-libvisual-1.1-0.1.i586.rpm libvisual-0.1.6-1.i586.rpm libvisual-gforce-0.1.0-1.i586.rpm libvisual-nebulus-0.1.3-1.i586.rpm libvisual-plugins-0.1.6-1.i586.rpm but when I try to access the visualizations I get a blank screen (screenshot attached). If anybody can give me a hand with this I'd appreciate it. I have a working X with 3D acceleration etc. Thanx Post edited by: Kostumer, at: 2004/09/30 09:48 |

Type amarok_libvisual --list at a konsole. Do you get any output?

This is what I get:
libvisual CRITICAL: amarok_libvisual: visual_plugin_get_next_by_name [(lv_plugin.c,410)]: assertion `list != NULL' failed |

Something's wrong, though I don't know what. Sorry. Libvisual support is currently tentative because libvisual is so new and shiny! I'll try to figure this out and fix it asap. Thanks,

Just updated from libvisual-0.1.6-1 to libvisual-0.1.6-5, problem persists...

Newest version on the libvisual site is 0.1.7... but then I saw that 0.1.7 was just released on the 14th so I guess thats not the problem.
