Hello, I am from Poland. I have MP3s from my Windows partition with tags saved in cp-1250 charset (windows central-european). I can not make them display properly! I have changed fonts, chosen "Recode idv3 tags" and nothing happens. When I try to edit a tag using polish letters, it looks good. But when I remove a song from playlist and load again, I see random characters istead of polish glyphs.
Could anyone help me, please? The problem touches both playlist window and OSD. thanks in advance, haael |

The only way encoding issues get fixed is when people who have them fix them I'm afraid. we really have nothing to test potential fixes to these problems with, it is very frustrating. Do you have any c++ skills?

I am from ukraine and use koi8-r as encoding. There is a problem with encoding, but i think, that this is not amarok problem.
If i specify encoding in options then ID3v1 tags display properly. But Id3V2 tags don\'t display properly, but according Id3v2 specifications, tags may be only in Unicode or latin1 encoding, but i think, that M$ don\'t read this specification. |
