Hi,
I've got:
Qt: 3.3.3
KDE: 3.3.0
amaroK: 1.1.1

all from debian-sid and xine engine fully working, while gst engine does not play anything.

My problem is that menu button (on the bottom right, nearby the volume lever) is not shown, just nothing. In configure toolbar options, the last thing are:
-- line separator --
Volume
-- line separator --
amaroK Menu

Why it is not shown!?!
It desappeared when I tried to switch from xine engine to gstreamer engine, but I do not understand the link between them!
When launched from console it seems not to write any error message.
Any idea?!?

I'm sorry to answer myself, but the menu button wasn't shown because the menubar was active.
