Hi,
I tried to compile latest CVS version, but I always get this abort: [code:1]libvisual.cpp: In function `int main(int, char**)': libvisual.cpp:35: warning: suggest parentheses around assignment used as truth value libvisual.cpp: In function `bool SDL::event_handler()': libvisual.cpp:248: warning: deprecated conversion from string constant to ` char*' /usr/include/libvisual/lv_event.h:237: error: too few arguments to function ` int visual_event_queue_add_mousebutton(VisEventQueue*, int, VisMouseState, int, int)' libvisual.cpp:270: error: at this point in file /usr/include/libvisual/lv_event.h:237: error: too few arguments to function ` int visual_event_queue_add_mousebutton(VisEventQueue*, int, VisMouseState, int, int)' libvisual.cpp:274: error: at this point in file make[5]: *** [libvisual.o] Error 1[/code:1] I'm using recent Gentoo Linux where I've emerge libvisual-0.1.7. Is this combination supposed to work or what am I'm doing wrong here? Thanks in advance for your help! Regards, Andreas Post edited by: amair, at: 2004/10/26 20:55 |

libvisual-0.17 is really new, I would try the -0.16 version. Its just a guess though.

Hi,

You're right, amaroK only compiles with 0.1.6 not with 0.1.7. Maybe this should be checked in thed configure script? amaroK now compiles but I cannot activate visualization: it's greyed out in the Tools menu. "amarok_libvisual --list" tells me: jess bumpscope gdkpixbuf infinite jakdaw lv_analyzer lv_dna lv_gltest lv_scope madspin oinksie plazma Any ideas what I can do? Regards, Andreas |
