When using the cvs version with gstreamer (081) i have lags every few secconds like if the pc was overloaded - unfortunately xine doesn't play some of my mp3s so i am forced 2 use gstreamer

any ideas about what might be the problem?

[*]Increase the sound buffer in your alsa config file .asoundrc

upgrading gstreamer & increasing buffer size did the trick

running flawlessly now

Sorry about that - not sure what happened there (must\'ve clicked Submit by mistake)

Anyway, I\'m having basically the same problem, but I have no .asoundrc file. Where do I create it and what should I put?
