I just upgraded to amarok 1.2 beta 1. Really thanks to the developers for their work.

I just have a problem with the cover manager, which doesn\'t want to display my covers (they are in the same directory than the audio files). The context browser shows them without problem.

I tried with an album without cover, and it seems that context browser and cover manager are completely separated : covers fetched (from amazon) in the context browser are then displayed there, but not in the manager. If I fetch them from the manager, they aren\'t displayed in the context browser.

If I fetch a cover from the two locations, I got 2 files in .kde/share/apps/amarok/albumcovers/large for this cover.

Does anybody have the same problem ?

got the same trouble some covers shoes on the cover manager and not on the context browser and vice versa.

if a do an download all , i don\'t see them in the context browser only in the cover manager.. weird :S

Same over here. Just updated to 1.2-beta1 and all my covers are not visable anymore. I hope this will be automatically fixed in the next release, because I have put a lot of work in ordering all my covers. I would be sad if I need to do this again.

Ditto here. Cover manager fetches them, but they don\'t display. If i fetch them individually they display.

I have similar problem, although not the same.

I don\'t use cover manager itself, but I scan/download cover images by hand and place them in the same directory that album files reside as \"cover.jpg\". So far it worked great, but after upgrade to 1.2b1 from kalyxo debs everything got screwed.

Right now (even after manually removing database file and rescanning) amarok just grabs cover image from the the first album I play and shows it as cover for all albums of this artist. And also uses this same cover for some other random albums by different artists.

Don\'t worry, guys, most of these issues are fixed in CVS.

I\'ve found the culprit. The reason of this particular **** is \"[...]/share/apps/amarok/albumcovers/cache/\". When amarok finds file cover.jpg among album files it writes its thumbnail in this directory and later reads this thumbnail instead of actual file from other albums. Moreover, when one choses \"show full size\" from context menu amarok still shows thumbnail instead of original in full size.

Should the fixes in CVS be part of 1.2-beta2? I\'m running 1.2-beta2 and still have the cover-problems.

Is anyone else using 1.2-beta2? Do you still have the \"cover-problem\"?
