Hi,
i tried to compile amarok 1.1.1.
But i get this message when i\'m type \'make\'.

Well either install libmad, or don\'t build the aRts-engine, you could also just use make -k and you\'ll probably be able to make -k install and get a working amaroK.

Basically you should talk to whoever packages aRts on your distro as a vital dependency appears to be missing (libmad)

make -k will give you errors but it will still compile amarok, you need to make -k install too. To compile without aRts ./configure --without-arts as described in the FAQ, the README, the handbook and numerous posts on this forum.
