According to the Audioscrobbler site, to avoid cheating songs are only submitted if a chunk is played from the beginning:
\"How much of a song do I have to listen to before the plugin reports it? The song is submitted after you have listened to 50% or 240 seconds of the song, whatever comes first. Any manual skipping or seeking through the track will cause that song not to be submitted. \" So I was rather surprised to find songs successfully submitted where I\'d played the last few seconds. I think this is a bug. OS: Mandrake 10.1 Community Edition Amarok: amarok-1.2-0.beta2.2.101mdk.i586.rpm Engine: Gstreamer Oh, and before anyone asks, I posted a similar message in the AudioScrobbler forums, but was referred to http://bugs.kde.org. As I don\'t have an account, the next best place is to post here. |

Suppose I should have looked in the KDE bugs forum first. Presume the \"RESOLVED\" status means it will see the light of day in the next release.
