Audioscrobbler - Submission error

Fri Jan 14, 2005 6:55 am
Running 1.2-beta3; seems it submits incorrect timestamps or something, for in my Audioscrobbler profile I only see the message \" Your plugin reported a submission error: Submissions from before the date you registered are not allowed\". Ideas, anyone?

Edit: Although I expect it\'s irrelevant in this case, I use the Xine engine and MySQL backend.

Quick update on the issue. Ran amaroK from a terminal, and there\'s no wonder Audioscrobbler complains... Apparently, amaroK reckon\'s it\'s 2005-01-11 (that\'s the date string it submits along with all the other information). How... Silly.

Hmm... According to the latest Audioscrobbler protocol RFC, timestamps should be sent as Unix timestamps, and not in the YYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS format. Perhaps the plugin has been updated in the CVS already?

Edit: Hence my previous \"fix\". Submission works when Amarok is run from a terminal, but not by the installed shortcut. It just keeps getting better and better!
