Which output plugin should I choose for GStreamer-engine. Any I chose either crashed amarok or does not play anything. For example I tried alsa... and had some hissing but now music. It plays ok with xine-engine but does not handle crossfading. aRts engine lacks equalizer.

Well, your gstreamer probably isn\'t setup correctly. I\'d use xine and live without crossfading.
