i tried to install it on suse 9.2 but it asks me for KDELIBS 3.3.2. what do i need to install?
i used to heve mandrake 10.1 which has KDE 3.2 and i was able to install amarok 1.2 beta 3 without problems, so i thought it would install on suse 9.2 which has KDE 3.3

If you try to install it using apt-get it should take care of all dependencies. I did it and had no problem.

how to use apt -get. can i download it using YAST (YOU) ??

I am not sure if you can do it with YOU. As I understand it is more for security updates. You can either add a remote source in YaST or install apt4rpm. For the first option you can look up a sticky on SuSE/Novell forum on www.linuxquestions.org. For the second option Alessandro gave me a very neat how-to, you can find it here:
