Does anyone know how to get Akode running under mandrake? Or, where to find an up to date mandrake package for libkdemultimedia? I\'m rather confused by the whole thing at this point. I\'m just trying to get MPC and FLAC running in AmaroK. AmaroK is choking very badly with Gstreamer, so I\'m trying it with ArTs, and finding similar problems.

Any ideas?

Maybe this is a little late and you\'ve got something sorted now, but, xine cvs now has mpc support and afaik already supported flac. Gstreamer always has issues for me too so I grabbed the xine cvs a week or so ago and mpc seems fine (also has ogg (vorbis for audio) so I\'m even more happy
