Stream playlist sequence

Mon Jan 24, 2005 10:13 pm
Hi all,

I have a little problem I can\'t understand. I try to load a .m3u playlist in amarok, in which each item is a https stream. Eg.:
---------------------------
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:,01. Title1
https://user:pass@localhost:443/mp3s/01.%20title1.mp3
#EXTINF:,02. Title2
https://user:pass@localhost:443/mp3s/02.%20title2.mp3
----------------------------
Amarok plays the first item correctly, but then, it stops, instead of playing the second one.
It\'s not a question of buffering time, it really stops, I have to click play again for it to resume playback.
If I replace the https streamed mp3s by local versions (/path/to/01. title1.mp3), it plays correctly all the songs without stopping between them.

I also tried to use gnump3d to stream mp3s, but without any success : the generated playlist laods correctly, but nothing happen : it can\'t play the songs.

Any idea, or any successful gnump3d use report?

TIA,

Do you have the latest version?
I\'ve got 1.2 and it works for me.
The only problem is that gstreamer won\'t play streams correctly (amarok: [Gst-Engine] Stream buffer overflow!), so I have to switch to artsd.
