So I want to use Amarok, but I have a large library of WMAs from before I switched to Linux. In XMMS, I can use the XMMS-MPlayer plugin to play WMAs correctly. Is there any combination of output trickery I can get to make mplayer play stuff?

If not, would that be something people would be interested in? I don\'t mind taking a crack at coding it myself.

xine can play WMAs if it\'s compiled with support. My xine-engine plays them no trouble, see if you can get hold of a decent xine package.

I\'m able to play wma radio-streams with amarok/Xine-engine - so that\'s fine. But is there a possibility to get the stream informations, the same way as with mp3 shoutcast info. I\'m not sure if this is the right place for this question, as it might be a xine-engine specific question. And i still don\'t know if with wma-streams you can get infos about what\'s playing, maybe i\'d have to get a windoze-computer and test it.....
