Hello all,
Using amaroK on the 3.4 beta 1 build of KDE. It appears that the amazon query is using \"com\" as locale -- does anyone know where this is coming from? Here\'s a sample query: http://xml.amazon.com/onca/xml3?t=webse ... ge=1&f=xml Obviously this doesn\'t work with amazon. Thanks, d |

Posting resolution ..
Seems that amarokconfig.cpp contains the default setting for \"AmazonLocale\", which is (for reasons unknown to me...) \"com\". I solved the problem by going into the cover manager, selecting a different locale (\"International\" was selected by default), then re-selecting \"International\". Don\'t know why \"com\" is used when default amazon locale is \"International / us\" .. should probably default to \"us\"... or .. better yet .. get the locale from KDE. -d |

Your probably using one of the older betas, this bug was related to the transition from the \'com\' locale to the correctly named \'us\' locale. I remember when a line was added to amaroK to force \'com\' locales to \'us\', so that has to be why.
Removing your amarokrc also would\'ve fixed it.
