Audioscrobbler Plugin

Sat Feb 05, 2005 8:57 pm
Is it possible for the next version to let the audioscrobbler plugin give some more information. It would be very helpful if we could see a log of some kind and maybe the song info queued to be tranfered to the scrobbler.

If it\'s not too much of a hassle that is :)

You can open up ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/submit.xml if you want to see the queue (formed when AS is down.)

And its not a plugin :P

It\'s hardcoded eh? Anyway I checked the submit.xml and it only has one song in it (about 3 songs back) even though amarok just reported that it couldn\'t submit the current song.
Isn\'t it supposed to show all the cached files.
Generaly it seems Amarok misses about 1 in 3 songs :(

There isn\'t any was to see a log of the connection in order to determine the cause of the failure?

Well, it doesn\'t actually write to the .xml file constantly (though a recent change in CVS makes it write to it more frequently). So you would have to quit amaroK to see what would be in it currently.

Not that useful I suppose.
