Hi,

I installed amarok v1.2-beta4 and i have no sound. The player indicates that it plays a song.
I am using Suse 9.2 and sound is working with other apps.

Maybe the sound device isn\'t free when amaroK wants to play...

which engine are you using?

(edit: you could try the dmix plugin: http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/index.php/Se ... x_for_ALSA )

It works! Do not know if it is the asoundrc. I did not restarted ALSA but now Amarok works with sound.

Perhaps the sound system was not free ( i rebooted since yesterday)
