Hello Everyone,

I got amarok running in my fedora and i am listening songs through gstreamer...Everything works, but when i try to make an Smart Playlist All Collection, i get a message that gst-engine claims it cannot play mp3\'s...something is wrong because i am sure i installed all the plugins and everything...Please Help

I had the same error - after installing gst-ffmpeg and removing the ffmpeg-plugin-files afterwards by hand, the message was gone. But why doesn\'t it simply use the mad plugin from the beginning? ...

edit: Same thing with mod files (s3m, it, etc.) - amaroK thinks gstreamer can\'t play them and doesn\'t add them to the playlist. Adding them by hand works -.-

How about a list where you can enter the supported file types by hand? As a kind of override...
