currently i have to force amarok (todays cvs checked out) to use transclucency if the window is in background. (i use those special window settings to do this).

does this have to do with the \"-DCOMPOSITE\" cflag? i had a similar problem with konsole, and read elsewhere that this is a \"bug\" in the konsole source, because it doesnt take care about -DCOMPOSITE yet.

dunno if this is relatedto my distro because i use amaroK CVS, but just thought i let you know.

Don\'t understand, what kind of transparency are you forcing? Fake or composite?
