Some of my songs have a 30 chars limitation in the album name. Other do not have. Has someone on idea on the reason ?

To me it\'s seems related to the file format : ogg : long album names, mp3 : limited to 30.
Can someone confirm/infirm ?

i have the same problem, mp3 tag fields seem to be truncated at 30 chars. is amarok reading only id3 v1 tags??? i am positive my files contain v2 tags with longer names. the mysql database fields use varchar(255) type, which is long enough, so the problem seems to be that only the v1 tags are read.

a player with such a great functionality shoud really use longer names. 30 chars is not enough and it can look funny when sending this crippled names to audioscrobbler
