here are some bugs that have not been fixed since the last beta:

- sometimes the titel and the artist are not shown correctly in the playlist, although i have edited the id3 tag. the id3 tag is displayes right in the edit field. but in the playlist is something like the fielname displayed.
when you edit this id3 tag it works. but i can correct this problem for just one session. after restarting amarok the filenames still have the id3 tags but they are not show correctly in the artistfields etc.


when i want to enter some charaters then i have to select this fiel with a right mousebutton. the left does not work. that problem especially appears when i click on the amarok icon on the taskbar and amarok shows up. then i cannot select the searchfield with the left mousebutton.


gstreamer engine does not work. amarok always crashes when i\'m trying to use.

well, gstreamer not working isn\'t an amaroK bug - it can be a pain to get installed and registered correctly, depending on your distribution. if in doubt, your best bet is to install distro specific packages (if you can find \'em) for gstreamer and gst-plugins, then make sure to run gst-register.

do the filenames in question contain and nonstandard characters? I tried getting some Kanji/hiragana into amaroK, and it wasn\'t too happy about it. other than that, I\'ve used just about every beta version from 1.1 through 1.2 final, and the japanese characters were my only hiccup where tag editing is concerned...

I\'d be interested to see what *does* show up - you say the filename? care to post a mini screenie of what it displays?

just copy and paste the path of the images, cause the forum needs a http:// in front of it.

you might wanna rescan your collection. then it should work. changing tags didnt update the database anymore, that was a bug in1.2 and is fixed in current cvs....

alternatively, just wait for 1.2.1 schedulded for 2005-02-27.

you probably mean "extras" -> "sammlung neu erfassen"? that didnt fixed the problem. a restart didnt fixed it too.
