Segmentation fault Then 15 mins or so later amarok starts up and runs but the hard drive is extreamly active and never stops working until i end amarok. any help would be appreciated. I am running v. 1.1 which came with my instilation of mandrake linux 10.1. Im thinking about uninstalling and installing 1.2 but dont know exactly how to do that. again thanks for any help. mod_a

maos Registered Member Posts 16 Karma 0	Re:amarok wont start , then comes up 15 min later Sat Feb 19, 2005 7:01 am Mandrake 10.1 packages some nice fellow appears to have made some more recent packages for your distro - got this link from the \"Download amaroK\" link over there on the left of the page. the directory has the required dependencies as well. If you take the dive and install from source, rather than these packages, you can find excellent install help in the wiki: Wiki install section hth~
