I\'m also getting the crash mentioned above for 1.2 on scan. It worked for a little while. I started ripping a could CDs with abcde and then scanned the dir again. Soon as I hit the button it falls hard and fast.

I use fluxbox, not KDE if that matters.

I compiled with the debug USE flag in Gentoo and am getting this output. I figured I\'d wipe out the collection and all my settings with \' rm -r ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/*\' but that has only caused it to crash immediately upon loading. The output indicates that it still knows about information in the database.

Also, \'taglib-config --version\' reports version 1.3.1. This appears to be the latest available. I\'ll go ahead and do a fresh install of that though.

A fresh taglib did not change anything. It continues to fail on boot now.

Guys, we offer a FAQ for a reason. The answer is in there.

And posting 50 pages of debug output here isn\'t exactly good style either. The last page would have done.
