Gstreamer RPMs for SUSE

Guru also has Current amaroK RPMs (normally newer than SUSE\'s KDE Supplementary ones).

Although I should note I\'m stuck on the arts engine at the moment because both xine and gstreamer cause amaroK to crash when I try to select them. I think, however, that\'s a problem with my system and not in amaroK, just haven\'t had time to hunt down the problem.

As for Shoutcast... copy/paste this URL into amaroK and see if it plays (known to work on mine): http://www.hardrockin80s.com/80.pls

May not be your style of music, but it\'s just to test. ;-) It\'s not shoutcast, but if it works, then it\'s a \"just Shoutcast\" issue.

If that doesn\'t work, \"Save link target as\" on the above link, and copy/paste one of the individual URLs for the streams into amaroK. If that works, it\'s a playlist issue. (Shouldn\'t be a problem, works for me.)

If those work, then test
http://shoutcast.com/sbin/shoutcast-pla ... lename.pls

I\'ve verified that one to work on mine. If the HardRockin80s link works, and this one doesn\'t, then it\'s definitely a \"Shoutcast\" stream issue.

Ooom, of course you can store streams. Just save the stream playlist in the Playlist-Browser. Right-click the "Current Track" item to save it.

:woohoo: ok... I tried to do a thing like that but after some minutes the stream disappear from the playlist, and in the \"last song played\" there is only mp3 and not streams :(
why amarok can\'t no more load a list of all streams to click\'n\'play them happily?? ;)
