Whenever I start any libvisual visualisation a window pops up and then immediately disappears. I have SuSE 9.2 with libvisual and plugins compiled from source (0.2.0). I have also compiled amarok 1.2 from source with gcc 3.3.4 .
I also have KDE 3.4 beta2 (Keinstein). I have dissabled composite option in xorg. Anybody else have this probem?

I have the same problem. Just installed amaroK 1.2 and libvisual 0.2.0. XMMS plugins seem to run fine, but libvisual plugins give the problem described in the original post.

Here\'s what I get in the console when starting a libvisual plugin:

Just checked that transform directory, it is not there. Might be a libvisual problem.
However, when adding the directory, the problem still remains, but without the missing directory error:

Btw, I am able to display plugins with XMMS (libvisual-xmms-0.2.0). Might clearify where the problem possibly lies...

Yeah, I never noticed it before. It does only work if I start it with amarokapp and and not amarok. I wonder why. Doesn\'t the amarok binary simply handle parameters and send them to amarokapp?

Im having this problem on Slackware 10.2. Using amarocK 1.3.3, libvisual + plugins 0.2, both compiled from source.
