Upgraded recently from amarok-1.2-beta3 to amarok-1.2.
I always use the gstreamer engine.

Since the upgrade, when I start amarok, the splash screen appears, soon after the main window appears, but then amarok simply exits without any error messages before it loads the current playlist.

After downgrading to the beta3 version, everything is fine again, although I had to rescan my collection. So, I guess, amarok-1.2 did not simply use the collection data from the beta3 version, but started to scan the collection and during that process crashed.

Does anyone else have the same problem? I can try to provide a backtrace if whished, but I first wanted to check whether this is a known incompatibility between beta3 and the final release.

Remove your amarokrc. Could be the buggy \"Encode\" tags function in 1.2.
