problems druing make (libtool)

Wed Mar 02, 2005 5:27 pm
during make, I get this error:

/bin/sh ../../../libtool --silent --mode=link --tag=CXX g++ -Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -Wundef -ansi -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500 -D_BSD_SOURCE -Wcast-align -Wconversion -Wchar-subscripts -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith -Wwrite-strings -O2 -Wformat-security -Wmissing-format-attribute -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -DQT_NO_STL -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_TRANSLATION -o libamarokcore.la main.lo amarokdcophandler.lo crashhandler.lo amarokdcopiface_skel.lo amarokconfig.lo
libtool: link: `main.lo\' is not a valid libtool object

with libtool --debug I get this back:

libtool: enabling shell trace mode
+ preserve_args=\' --debug\'
+ test 0 -gt 0
+ test -n \'\'
+ exec_cmd=
+ test -z \'\'
+ test -z \'\'
+ echo \'*** Warning: inferring the mode of operation is deprecated.\'
*** Warning: inferring the mode of operation is deprecated.
+ echo \'*** Future versions of Libtool will require -mode=MODE be specified.\'
*** Future versions of Libtool will require -mode=MODE be specified.
+ case $nonopt in
+ test -n \'\'
+ test -z \'\'
+ test -n \'\'
+ echo \'libtool: warning: cannot infer operation mode without MODE-ARGS\'
libtool: warning: cannot infer operation mode without MODE-ARGS
+ test -n \'\'
+ generic_help=\'Try `libtool --help\'\\\'\' for more information.\'
+ help=\'Try `libtool --help --mode=\'\\\'\' for more information.\'
+ case $mode in
+ echo \'libtool: you must specify a MODE\'
libtool: you must specify a MODE
+ echo \'Try `libtool --help\'\\\'\' for more information.\'
Try `libtool --help\' for more information.
+ exit 1

Does somebdoy have an idea what\'s the solution for this problem?
