Hi everybody,

I\'m using the Debian SID package of amarok and I get a problem whilst playing Audio CDs. When I click on play CD, I get the audiocd:// tree, but when I add one of the files to the playlist, there is nothing happening :S

What is the problem exactly ? I use the xine engine for playing sounds and I get no problems with mp3s, oggs and other files.

It\'s so sorry : I prefer amarok to the other players, but I can\'t read my audiocds

Cedric - I have the same problem. I was told however, in another forum that xine wont play audio CDs. You might try arts or gstreamer. I have tried them both and I still cant get a sound out of AmarOK, but can use KsCD and Kaffeine just fine.

Even if you got it to work, you wouldn\'t be able to seek in tracks. Really you\'re better off using kscd.
