i was getting my cd collection encoded. i chose aac \'cos i think it\'s a decent codec. so i did the job partially with easy cd-da extractor 7 for m$win and winamp5. the playback was fine with windows player (i didnt check with WMP cos i dont use it). but whtn i booted linux, amarok wouldnt playback the files i encoded with ez-cd-da, althought it would do it with the ones encoded with winamp. if it\'s of any use, ez cdda ex hasdiffernet options for aac encoding, and i used the mpeg-4 aac style (it had nero style, m-peg2 style). any reasons for that behavior and/or ways to find out?
