Unicode problem

Tue Mar 15, 2005 3:46 am
I have downloaded MP3\'s from http://ddt.ru/dsc/. I changed th eencoding in amaroK options to UTF-8 and rewrote the tags. Everyting worked fine until recently. Now the tracks look OK in the tag editor and the OSD (e.g. ДДТ), but in the rest of amaroK it looks like this: Ð\"Ð\"Т

I think I'm having the same problem as you. I attached an image of the problem which should give a better understanding.

Just a thought... is this likely more of a KDE problem? Is there a setting I don't know about?

I think there is a problem in displaying UTF characters in contextbrowser. I had opened a bug regarding this at http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141578
