Well, as the topic suggests, I have two questions. One, amaroK loads slowly - this can be attributed to its default list having some 1633 tracks and database almost 50 GB with a lot of covers and using SQLite, I think.

But it\'s the second one that really bugs me, since it wasn\'t present in amaroK 1.2 and it appeared when I upgraded to 1.2.2. Namely, switching to a new song can take up to 3-4 seconds, which is sluggish.I have just tried it with two different situations - one, a band that I have a lot of albums w/covers by, and one with a song by a band I have only 1 album and no cover - and only the first one loads slow. SInce it wasn\'t like that in 1.2 (and I\'ve used SQLite as well), is it perhaps the new way of treating album covers (that is, no more cache)? Can it be fixed / done differently?

There hasn\'t been any changes in the handling of cover\'s AFAIK. Why do you think there\'s no cache?
