Hi,
I am a fan of amarok. Have been using it for quite some time now. Recently, I upgraded my kde 3.3.2 to 3.4. and amarok to 1.2.2-3. I am running SuSE 9.2 . Amarok used to run absolutely fine on kde 3.3.2 until I installed 3.4. Here is the log of the crash: harpreet@Aeolus:~> amarok amaroK: [Loader] Starting amarokapp.. amaroK: [Loader] Don\'t run gdb, valgrind, etc. against this binary! Use amarokapp. QObject::connect: Cannot connect Engine::Base::statusText( const QString& ) to (null)::shortMessage( const QString& ) QObject::connect: Cannot connect Engine::Base::infoMessage( const QString& ) to (null)::longMessage( const QString& ) QLayout: Adding KToolBar/mainToolBar (child of QVBox/unnamed) to layout for PlaylistWindow/PlaylistWindow GStreamer-ERROR **: file gstobject.c: line 337 (gst_object_finalize): assertion failed: (trace) aborting... KCrash: Application \'amarokapp\' crashing... harpreet@Aeolus:~> I don\'t know what does that \"Don\'t run gdb, valgrind, etc. against this binary!\" means. Some1 pls enlighten.
