Error compiling 1.2.2 under Madrake

Tue Mar 22, 2005 9:10 pm
Hi!,
While compling amarok 1.2.2 under madrake linux I got this error:

gstequalizer.cpp:13:29: gst/audio/audio.h: No such file or directory

and, following that

gstequalizer.cpp:40: error: `GST_AUDIO_INT_PAD_TEMPLATE_CAPS\' was not declared in this scope

Any idea?
Thanks in advance

Try to update your gst and gst-plugins.

I ran into the same problem, gst/audio/audio.h should be available to you if you install the gstreamer-plugins-devel package

here\'s a list of packages I needed (compliling --without-arts)
kdelibs-devel
taglib-dvel
gstreamer-devel (./configure succesfully finishes after this)
gstreamer-plugins-devel (to fix the missing audio.h screamed out by make ?)

if I need more I\'ll be back here to add to the list
