Hi,
everytime I get down to compiling amarok on kde 3.4, Slackware 10.0 I get this error: [code:1] arok.la -rpath /opt/kde/lib/kde3 -module -avoid-version -module -no-undefined -Wl,--no-undefined -Wl,--allow-shlib-undefined -R /opt/kde/lib -R /opt/kde/lib -R /usr/lib/qt/lib -R /usr/X11R6/lib -L/opt/kde/lib -L/usr/lib/qt/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lkonqsidebarplugin universalamarok.lo -lkhtml -lkparts -lkio grep: /usr/lib/libGL.la: No such file or directory /usr/bin/sed: can\'t read /usr/lib/libGL.la: No such file or directory libtool: link: `/usr/lib/libGL.la\' is not a valid libtool archive make[3]: *** [konqsidebar_universalamarok.la] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/root/amarok/amarok-1.2.2/amarok/src/konquisidebar\' make[2]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/amarok/amarok-1.2.2/amarok/src\' make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/amarok/amarok-1.2.2/amarok\' make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 **** Installation failed. Aborting package creation. Restoring overwritten files from backup...OK Cleaning up...OK Bye. [/code:1] Now it mentions some libGL.la, where do I get that, from some other sites I saw that it is related to some nvidia installer?? But why would amarok be based on that, I use an ATI radeon graphic card! |

amarok looks for opengl because some components (i think visualizing stuff) use opengl..
try to configure it with the --without-opengl option.. it\'s always helpful to have a look at all configure options.. |
