When I start KDE, amarok isn\'t started again even if it was running before I logged off last. (KDE 3.4)

Hmm, I never tried that.
But what I can say is, that if you use swsusp to hibernate linux with amaroK running, it will not play a sound after resume and needs a restart.

is your kde self-compiled?

it seems, that it simply kills amaroK at the end of the session

Annoyed with bbcode since 1999.

\'Restore previous session\' is selected.
And no, it\'s not self-compiled, I use Debian packages.
This also happens under KDE 3.3.2 on my other computer.

(I fixed it temporarily by symlinking /usr/bin/amarokapp to /usr/lib/amarok/amarokapp)
