it\'s an fault in the apt system, it seems to take the false packages, cause the provider of the package has packed two versions (one for 3.3 and one for 3.4) apt try to install that for 3.3 so you should install it manually http://linux01.gwdg.de/~pbleser/rpm-nav ... und/amarok

but i think it\'s always the best, to compile it your self

Thanks, but there is no package for Suse 9.1 and KDE 3.4

I wonder if the Suse 9.2 rpm works...uhm....

well, there\'s not that much difference

A binary compiled to KDE 3.3 should still work on KDE 3.4. If it doesn\'t work, we call it a bug.

Force the install and see what happens.

I already managed to compile it by the help of some folks on the IRC chan!
