Hi,
Just started using amarok (I know, I know :ermm: ) and extremely good it is too. Having noticed it talks to those iPod things, I\'m now considering getting one to save having to carry CD\'s full of MP3\'s around. Is it possible to actually transfer playlists (either smart or normal) to an iPod (like with itunes) rather than just dumping a load of files over? As far as I can tell it\'s not, but I may be missing something. If not, any chance of making it so in the (near) future? ![]() Daren |

It is currently not possible to transfer playlists to the iPod.
That said, there is good news. Muesli has been hard at work on completely revamped iPod support, including playlist syncronization and library syncing as well. It will all be included in 1.3 - so keep an eye out ![]()

Is it possible with v 1.4.5?? I am trying to transfer a playlist but it tries to transfer the data files (music) also, which are already on the iPod. I notice there is a 'sync with media device' option...what does this do?
