Firstly - thanks for writing amarok; it\'s definitely the best music
player I\'ve used so far. However - it crashes occasionally. Or, more accurately, it freezes up. This always happens between songs; and it seems to be always the same songs which cause it to hang. I can give you a stripped backtrace, but before recompiling, I thought I\'d see if anyone had already seen & diagnosed this problem. The first few lines of the backtrace are (gdb) where #0 0x46339651 in __read_nocancel () from /lib/tls/libpthread.so.0 #1 0x427d4c84 in Arts::SocketConnection::notifyIO () from /usr/lib/libmcop.so.1 #2 0x427cb3be in Arts::StdIOManager::processOneEvent () from /usr/lib/libmcop.so.1 I\'m fairly sure it\'s not an arts problem - other programs outputting through arts will still play sounds. Oh; this is all with version 1.2.3, with the arts engine (obviously) |

Don\'t use the aRTs engine. Use xine or gstreamer instead.
