I\'m running Gentoo but have been trying to compile from src, cvs and I also tried the ebuild but each time I get a make error:

I\'d love to try running AmaroK :cheer: |

Firstly, you should try get 1.2.3, its newer.
Secondly, I am pretty sure your problem is related to libGL. You need to have the libGL libraries installed correctly to alleviate this problem. Not entirely sure how to solve it though, but that might help. |

Yea, add a line:
media-sound/amarok ~x86 to your /etc/portage/package.keywords (create it if it doesn\'t work). This will make sure you get amaroK-1.2.3 (less bugs). Then do USE=\"-opengl\" emerge amarok
