No sound at all at some point

Tue Apr 19, 2005 4:27 pm
First, hello and 10x for the great work, dudes! AmaroK is the most feature-rich and wonderful open-source player ever existed in the linux world!

Here\'s the problem: At certain time when playing songs, amaroK stops producing any sound. It says the music is playing, visualizations work, but no sound at all. This happens after almost a day non-stop work. Restarting the player helps to solve the problem.

I am using the GStreamer engine.

Also, when run from a terminal, amaroK produces some strange ( believe these are bugs too ) messages ( ordered by severity ):

(process:5486): GStreamer-WARNING **: pads don\'t accept old caps. We assume they did though

QObject::connect: Cannot connect QSignal::signal(const QVariant&) to (null)::(null)

ASSERT: \"i
