Audioscrobbler

Fri Apr 29, 2005 7:11 am
Hi. I\'m using Amarok 1.2.3 with Debian Sarge (I installed Amarok with apt-get if that matters) using Gnome. My only other option is XMMS, which displayes a lot of stuff wrong in the playlist window, due to my use of Audioscrobbler. The problem with Amarok is that it only submits ~75% of the songs I play, all of which are tagged correctly and are longer than 30 sec. Please help me! I will give aditional specs as needed. Thanks in advance.

Do you notice anything different about the 25%? Do they come in chunks (suggesting that perhaps audioscrobbler happens to be off at that time)? Does the 25% have characters Augustus wouldn\'t recognize?

No, because it\'s usually different songs, and sometimes they submit and sometimes they dont. I don\'t get a failed to send several songs to audioscrobbler message either. There are no weired char. in the tags, and XMMS works perfectly with Audioscrobbler.

If you don\'t mind recompiling, the fix here seems to have worked for me.

Yea, if Jeff could do that fix and confirm that it works for him as well, that would be great.
