Installing 1.2.3 on Suse 9.3

Fri May 13, 2005 4:57 pm
I\'m trying to put 1.2.3 on Suse 9.3, but I get a message saying libid3tag.so.0 not available and that there\'s an mpeg321 0.2.10-528.1 conflict.

I could just ignore it, but I\'d rather no problems came up at all.

I guess you try to install a rpm

and cause yast should resolve the dependencys the rpm seems to be ****, so my question is: from where you got the rpm?

It\'s available through YaST. If you add Guru, Packman, or, I think, even KDE/Supplementary, you should be able to get 1.2.3. Let me know if you need help adding these sources to YaST.

I got it from the KDE supplementary source on the Suse website. I\'m trying some other things, because I got it working fine on another installation of 9.3 and I\'m not sure how.

I had the DVD disabled as an installation source, so it couldn\'t find the packages it needed. Oops
