I\'m trying to make from source and configure completes without error. But during the make process i get:
Making all in graphequalizer make[5]: Entering directory `/root/amarok-1.3-beta1/amarok/src/scripts/graphequalizer\' /bin/sh ../../../../libtool --silent --mode=link --tag=CXX g++ -Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -Wundef -ansi -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500 -D_BSD_SOURCE -Wcast-align -Wconversion -Wchar-subscripts -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith -Wno-non-virtual-dtor -O2 -Wformat-security -Wmissing-format-attribute -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -DQT_NO_STL -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_TRANSLATION -o graphequalizer -L/usr/lib -L/usr/lib/qt-3.3/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -R /usr/lib -R /usr/lib -R /usr/lib/qt-3.3/lib -R /usr/X11R6/lib equalizercanvasview.o main.o eqdialog.o stdinreader.moc.o -lqt-mt -lz -lpng -lz -lm -lXext -lX11 -lSM -lICE -lpthread -lkdeui -lkdecore /usr/lib/libkdeui.so: undefined reference to `QProgressBar::~QProgressBar()\' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[5]: *** [graphequalizer] Error 1 I also get the same error when i make the stable version 1.2.4. I\'ve already done some google searches and have found out these errors are related to QT. Also i\'ve just upgraded to KDE 3.4.1 but my version of QT is the same (3.3.4) Any ideas? |

Huzzah for the human thought process!
I decided to rebuild kdelibs from source so i\'d see any messages since ti\'s from this library my messages were coming from. Turns out the arts includes wern\'t properly installed. So after rebuilding both arts ans kdelibs; I rebuilt both versions of amarok (1.3b and 1.2.4) and both makes worked. There could be a problem with the RPMs of KDE 3.4.1 I got but it\'s working so I\'m happy. And what lead me to rebuild kdelibs was that I was alternatly trying ot build kaffeine and it was broken with the same error. |
