I have a new external hd, everything works fine. Well, almost everything. I can easily play my files and queue songs through the filebrowser, but my collection won\'t update. Doesn\'t it work with FAT32?

Is it because all the folders are empty (I still have to move back my files) except one? There\'s only one album so far. But I also tried to add only this one Folder and it won\'t show up. Any ideas? |

Uhm, and yes, it\'s tagged!
Adding some more albums now. Let\'s see if it makes a difference... |

Hard to say, FAT32 is definitely no problem!
A wild guess: Do you try to add music files not recognized by amaroK? Post edited by: marcel, at: 2005/06/22 13:09 |

First, thanks for your reply!
No, I could play those files through the collection browser, so they got recognized. It\'s fixed now, I just don\'t know why. Restarting amaroK did not help, but the next time I did a reboot and wanted to play some music in amaroK I noticed that the collection got scanned and the album was there. Then I added some more and everything seems to work fine now! Yay! B) But I have no idea what was wrong at the beginning because I didn\'t change anything... |
