Amarok

Mon Jun 27, 2005 8:26 am
Argh, I keep getting trouble from amarok.

here\'s the gdb backtrace:

When i run from the console, this happens:

kio (KIOConnection): ERROR: Header read failed, errno=104
kio (KIOConnection): ERROR: Header has invalid size (-1)

The real kicker is that none of this happens as root. I\'m hoping for an easy fix that i\'m overlooking. Any help would be appreciated

You should give more information - at least the amaroK version you are using, distribution, KDE version etc.

well, if this does not happen to you as root, looks like a permission problem to me

OTOH, it works alright here using gentoo, though, i compile from source, not from the ebuilds. maybe you try this out?
